SMILE: The Next Iteration

Small Incision Lenticule Extraction (SMILE) is a minimally invasive refractive surgical procedure that has gained popularity in recent years. This course will provide an in-depth understanding of the SMILE procedure, its indications, contraindications, outcomes and alternative procedures. Upon completion of the course, participants will have a thorough understanding of the principles of SMILE surgery and will be able to apply this knowledge to the management of patients with refractive errors. Participants will also have the skills to perform a comprehensive refractive evaluation and to select the most appropriate surgical procedure for their patients.
