The Scleral Lens Jumpstarter

The best lectures and the best publications can’t replace one thing: Live handling and evaluation of scleral lenses. To get comfortable with scleral lenses, you need practice and you need a good mentor. Many of the major optometry meetings have workshops, but those only last 1-2 hours, and the room is filled with many other attendees fighting for attention from the teacher. On top of that, 2 hours is simply not enough time to learn everything you need to know about scleral lenses.

The event was a huge success and we received amazing feedback!

Feedback from the participants:

  • This is one of the best classes I have ever attended. I absolutely feel ready to go back to my office and put what I have learned to use. Thank you Stephanie!

  • Best experience I ever had. Small infinite group setting which made it easy to get all your questions answered and hands-on experience. Great for doctors who have never touched scleral lens and to ones who have been fitting for a few years.

  • All day was "meat and potatoes" - NO WASTE! 100% practical information. The course is highly recommended for those practitioners who want to improve there expertise in scleral lenses!

  • As it has been a few years since fitting scleral lenses in school. Today's course has given me the tools to get started incorporating specialty lenses into practice. Thank you!
