Urgency of Retinal Referrals

The urgency of retinal referrals will be discussed using time frames to include within 24 hours, 48 to 72 hours, within one week, and within two to four weeks. We will review common retinal issues that present to eye  professional’s offices and how to diagnose certain retinal conditions. It is important to identify and refer some retinal  conditions early to prevent permanent vision loss or slow down progression of certain conditions.
