Ocular surface disease is a common comorbidity of glaucoma. The management of dry eye in glaucoma presents a unique challenge to eye care practitioners, as IOP-lowering drops have extensive mechanisms for causing or exacerbating damage to the ocular surface. Here, we discuss specific mechanisms involved and ocular surface friendly tips for glaucoma management.
