From Optimization to Outcomes – Real World Cases

Optimizing the ocular surface is only part of the equation. Successful implementation requires effective co-management, communication, and real-world application. In this case-based session, attendees will work through real patient scenarios across refractive, cataract, and corneal procedures, illustrating how preoperative optimization influences surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction. The course will also focus on how to collaborate with surgeons, determine surgical readiness, and navigate common challenges in patient management. Participants will leave with practical insight into integrating ocular surface optimization into everyday practice, along with strategies to strengthen referral relationships and co-management partners.
