ABOUT CLOSE:

CLOSE is a year-long program that guides clinicians in adopting practical, step-by-step strategies for better diagnosis and management of ocular surface disease. This year-long initiative will have 5 phases- each built around a webinar. Participants will receive useful resources to guide them along with each lecture, and an open Q&A session at the end of each phase.

Important notice: Continuing Education (CE) will not be offered for this initiative. This is intended for clinicians who want to change the trajectory of their practice by enhancing patient outcomes.

Building Upon Phase 3:In Phases One and Two, Drs. Brujic and Kading set the stage and introduced the diagnostic pathway. In Phase Three, the intricacies of billing & coding appropriately were discussed. All of this sets the stage for Phase Four: Filling the Gaps.

Advanced In-Office Treatments:In Phase Four, CLOSE will begin discussing in-office treatments, such as Ocular Surface Irrigation, LLLT, IPL, RF, and more. Proper preparation, including patient consent, safety equipment, will also be reviewed. The doctors will then discuss the proper steps for each treatment.
