Myopia Control: Why Each Diopter Matters

This course provides an evidence-based review of myopia control. Emphasis is placed on peer-reviewed, randomized clinical trials with changes in both axial length and refractive error and interpreting the study data. Progressive addition lenses and under-correction have little or a deleterious effect. The underlying mechanisms are discussed and the potential benefits of slowing myopia on ocular disease and visual impairment will be reviewed.

Over 1100 attended our event and we received amazing feedback!

  • So clear and learned so much. Wish I knew this info earlier.

  • Another informative, well-presented program.

  • What a great presentation! Lots of useful slides and food for thought, well expressed and well paced, and the quantity of material was just right.

  • excellent choice of topic AND speaker!!

  • I was a former student of Dr. Bullimore and Dr. Justin Kwan! Happy to see him and his lectures! The red light therapy safety slide helps illustrate the potential dangers that I hear of in other lectures but never in gravity.

  • The world of myopia control in one hour. Thank you Mark.

  • Excited to start using stellest. Great talk. Never miss an opportunity to listen to Dr Bullimore!
