The Clinical Guide to the Newest Innovations in Keratoconus: wfgSL & CTAK
Keratoconus significantly impacts patients' quality of life. Conventional management often leaves unmet visual needs. Wavefront-guided scleral lenses (wfgSL) and Corneal Tissue Addition Keratoplasty (CTAK) represent the 2 newest advancements in keratoconus management. This evidence and case based guide will provide practitioners with the clinical considerations to confidently select appropriate candidates, manage expectations, understand the science and procedure for each, as well as know the expected outcomes. After this course the practitioner should be able to confidently incorporate these innovations into clinical practice, or at least be aware of their existence, as part of the management of the keratoconus patient.
