The supplement industry is a 150-billion-dollar industry. Patients spend hard-earned money on supplements that clever marketing agencies have promoted as healthy. This creates a lot of noise and confusion for patients. This course will review evidence-based nutraceuticals in eyecare and the science behind prescribing them. As doctors, it is imperative that practitioners are knowledgeable about what the science says and that we relay the most accurate information to our patients.
